Popular Books I Didn't Want to Read

A popular book I didn't want to read was Harry Potter. My friends were recommending it. My brother was recommending it, even my brother's friends were recommending it! I refused to read it thinking it would be boring. Finally they convinced me to try it. I started the first chapter and sure enough I wasn't hooked. But as I continued to read I started to like it a little. And by the end of book 1 I was sprinting to start the next books! It became my second favorite series! The lesson is, try new things even if you don't expect to like them!
