Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief: Book vs show

The book Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief came out in 2005 and the show came out in 2023. The Lightning Thief is one of my favorite books because it has a great plot and I like how it mixes greek mythology with modern life. I read the book first, and personally I like it better then the TV show. I often like the book better than the movie/show because the movie can't have everything from the book. Although, I was impressed with this show! It had basically the same plot and didn't change too much. I thought the character selection was good and matched up well with the actual characters. I would recommend reading the book first so that you get the full story before watching the show. I would give the book 5 stars and the show 4.5 stars when compared to the book!
